FINALE' The Last Case is a comic film noir about two low rent private detectives and their interaction with many unique characters. Willie Bannon, a true hero, struggles with a serious medical problem known only to him and his doctor. His long time partner, Jimbo Escher, who is somewhat clueless, but always useful, creates as many problems as he solves, but is fiercely loyal.
Bannon, a widower with a young daughter, is a classic gentleman struggling with his partner's many identities and resulting misadventures with various women. Jimbo still lives at home with his 80 something Mom.
Their latest case involves a gangster named Charles Bratcher, whose wife has hired them to gather information on an affair he is having.
There are many colorful characters, including Mr. Skees, the bartender, Madame Cheri, a fortune teller, Big George, a local loan shark, The Black Mambas, a nameless mugger who is always getting robbed, Lewis The Deadhead, Klepto Judy, and Jimbo's twin brother Chucky, who is a homeless bum. Charles Bratcher is a despicable villain with a devious sidekick named robert Pines.
